Arundel Mills opened in November 2000. It is the first enclosed mall to feature a Medieval Times dinner theater. In addition to 17 large anchor stores, Arundel Mills also features a Dave & Buster’s and an Egyptian-themed 24-screen megaplex theater. The movie theater is the highest-attended in the United States[verification needed] and was the only outlet of its Muvico chain in the state of Maryland before being sold to Cinemark in March 2009.
The mall’s interior layout features a “racetrack” design or, more noticeably, the outline of a boat. Mall sponsors areToyota, The Baltimore Sun, Comcast, Discover Card, and Coca-Cola. Arundel Mills has over 225 stores.
In addition to gambling, Maryland Live! will feature several dining options: the chef, restaurateur, television personality, and cookbook author Bobby Flay will open a Bobby’s Burger Palace restaurant; The Cheesecake Factory will open a 10,000-sq.-ft. restaurant;; and the Prime Rib will open a steakhouse. The project was to feature the world-famous Baltimore-based Obrycki’s Crab House and Seafood Restaurant; however, the restaurant announced in November 2011 that it will not be opening a location there. Instead, Phillips Seafood will open a location at the site. Maryland Live! will also feature a new live music venue operated by Annapolis-based Rams Head. Rams Head Live! will feature fixed seating for approximately 300 in an intimate cabaret-style design with several stepped viewing levels of the stage.

Atlanta Daily World (July 9, 2006): “Atlanta’s LROC Creates Beats For Top-Selling CDs, Works On Project To Benefit AIDS Research”
Forced to stay inside with a contagious flu, I was watching CNN this morning when an interview with a Liberian artist from Atlanta, Georgia, was announced. Music producer LRoc – since it was him – is the son of a former Minister of Finance executed on the beach of Monrovia on that fatal day in April 1980. Then 16 years old, he fled with his American mother to the USA where he has been living for the past 29 years, building a career as a successful songwriter and music producer. In 2005 LRoc – aka James Elbert Phillips – was the co-winner of a Grammy Award for Album of the Year.

The bandurria is a plectrum chordophone from Spain, similar to the cittern and the mandolin, primarily used in Spanish folk music. It bears a close resemblance to the Portuguese guitarra (a guitarra Portuguesa).
Prior to the 18th century, the bandurria had with a round back, similar or related to the mandore. It had become a flat-backed instrument by the 18th century, with five double courses of strings, tuned in fourths. The original bandurrias of the Medievalperiod had three strings. During the Renaissance they gained a fourth string. During the Baroque period the bandurria had 10 strings (5 pairs). The modern bandurria has 12 strings (6 pairs). The strings are tuned in unison pairs, going up in fourths from the low G#. The lowest four strings are a major-third above those of a standard guitar and the highest two strings are a fourth above a standard guitar, ie G♯, c♯, f♯, b, e and a.
