About Me
Vera Cornish is a trainer, facilitator, speaker and life coach. Vera has garnered a reputation of meeting her audience where they are and leaving them energized and excited about the future. Motivational, inspirational and thought provoking, Vera Cornish is refreshing.
In 1999 Vera launched Cornish & Associates Inc. Her client base has included Mellon Bank, The Hershey Company, Highmark Blue Shield and the Milton Hershey School. Vera was selected to co-design three curriculums on behalf of Penn State and the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. Her commitment to community is exemplified by past board memberships on the YWCA of Greater Harrisburg and the Harrisburg Regional Chamber. A graduate of Leadership Harrisburg, Vera is a frequent presenter and now serves on the 25 Year Anniversary Celebration Committee.
Vera’s past employment has included Penn State University and an appointment as the first Director of Institutional Diversity at Harrisburg Area Community College. She is a graduate of Penn State with a B.S. in Education of the Exceptional Child and College Misericordia with a M.S. in Education, specializing in Multi-Cultural Curriculum Development. She is now a certified Life Coach.
It is Vera’s belief that her keen understanding of cross cultural relationships was formed during her childhood. The richness of the culture of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania coupled with the mosaic experiences of the North Eastern part of the state formed the foundation of who she is today.
