Tarsier Winter 2012

Winter in D.C. has us of Tarsier, thinking of comfort food. As we walk through the streets with our hands thrust deep into our jacket pockets, we find our thoughts wandering to those hot, sizzling and savory dishes. Dishes that transport us somewhere warm, away from the frost covered pavement. We would probably hibernate through the winter. However, dining and drinking amongst good friends entice us out to the cold. Wherein lies the inspiration of our winter catering menu, “Pulutan”, food to be eaten by hand with the accompaniment of your favorite beverage. it’s the food you would find along the streets and bars throughout the Philippines. It’s social food. It’s soul food. It’s food to pair with a drink and most importantly, its food to pair with friends. We hope you enjoy Pulutan with us.
