FYI!! If you planned on attending and haven’t picked up tickets the 1030 show is sold out! If anyone has extra tickets please post here so that folks wanting to go may take them off your hands. Still haven’t locked up the location and time for the preshow but some folks have shown an interest to hit a spot with a rooftop since the weather should be nice. Right now we are looking at Ozio, 18th St Lounge, and Public Bar. Will lockup the location and time the week of the show. Even if you’re not going to the show you are more than welcome to hangout with everyone at the bar. Finally, in order for us to sit together as a group I need the full name of the person who bought the tickets and how many. You can message me here with the information or send me an email atallfromvb@gmail.com. Need this NLT Wed, April 4. If you’ve already sent it to me you can ignore this. Thanks!! Folks just a friendly reminder you may want to pickup your tickets to the concert sometime soon. It’s less than 4 wks away and I would hate for tickets to sellout and you guys miss a great show. Remember i’ll consolidate the list a few days prior to the show and call the theater for seating so we can do our best to all sit together as planned. Also, let us still plan on meeting up before the show. Right now I’m thinking Ozio Lounge (http://www.oziodc.com) or Buffalo Billiards (http://dc.buffalobilliards.com) since it’s a bigger bar. However, I’m open to suggestions. Concert is at 1030 so probably planning on showing up at bar NLT 7pm. More to follow as we get closer to show date. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!!
The Fil-Am comedian, Jo Koy is coming to the DC Improv. Let’s show him some East Coast Pinoy love and catch his show.
Since his Tonight Show performance, Jo joined Carlos Mencia‘s “Punisher Tour” in 2006. He has since appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Last Call with Carson Daly, BET’s Comic View, Jamie Foxx Presents: Laffapalooza, and appeared in various VH1 I Love the 70′s, 80′s and 90′s episodes. His Comedy Central special “Don’t Make Him Angry” aired in January, 2009 and is now available on DVD. He is a regularly featured comedian at the world famous Improv, tours colleges nationwide, and performs at comedy clubs both in the US and internationally. We are set to attend the Friday night 1030pm show. Folks interested in joining can purchase the tickets directly at the Improv website, http://www.dcimprov.com Submit names to me NLT Wed, April 4 so that I can group everyone together. The 1030 show is reserved seating but management will seat us together if I have a list of the names. Also, prior to the show we plan on meeting up for drinks and food before at a bar/restaurant TBD. I’m open for suggestions so let me know if you have an idea.
