Old pictures from October 2010 (Cebu > Dumaguete City > Siquijor Island > Apo Island). Dumaguete City, a wonderful city with such great people. Maybe that's the reason why the city is known as, "The City of Gentle People". Dumaguete is ideal for people who are looking for a perfect summer getaway to relax and be in one with the wonders of the nature.
When asked if she could build a few more for non-family members, Formula Mom declined, simply encouraging others to build their own. For my crock pot meal this week....
This recipe is from my mom's friend, Mike. The man is an amazing chef. I can't believe I've never posted it before. If you want to serve food that tastes like it came from a restaurant but don't have time to fix it--let the crock pot get your back on this one!! You'll be glad you did.

The thing is, people are angry because she promoted a not-so-healthy diet. She has a cooking show, numerous cookbooks, and even a cook wear line.

Inspired by Chef Nor's Avocado shake post from Food trip......by: Nors Vargas, I remembered the delicious concoction made for me in Brazil. So simple to make, and full of the "good fat," Florida avocados are just as ripe and delicious as the ones I consumed in the Brazilian tropical climate. They are a beautiful vibrant green here and my hand automatically reaches for them at the farmer's market.
