Chrisi's Coconut Cocktail

Ingredients:

2 1/2 c. water
2 1/2 c. sugar
6 oz frozen lemonade
6 oz frozen orange juice
48 oz pineapple juice
2 liter ginger ale
1 pint coconut rum

Directions:

Dissolve sugar in water in straight sided container.

Over the winter holiday season, my family and I went to Hawaii for a week. We planned our trip carefully to maximize the experience in Oahu. If you are interested in going to Hawaii, I hope this post helps you organize your itinerary!

As a disclaimer, vacationing in Hawaii is very expensive! We had to save a lot of money to afford all these activities, but we decided it was worth it.

When I got married I chose to have henna applied to my hands and feet, and adorned myself with traditional Indian wedding jewelry. I have always been fascinated with the Middle Eastern, North African and Indian cultures which have mastered the art of mixing and applying henna to celebrate important life events. Henna is believed to bring the couple good luck in their marriage and though this was not my experience, it in no way diminished my appreciation of this beautiful art form.
